Peacemaker Profile of Trina Paulus

In 2020, NJ Peace Action honored Trina Paulus with a Peacemaker Profile in their annual journal — a recognition of her lifelong dedication to hope, transformation, and nonviolent change. Written by Mary Gallagher, the profile explores how Trina’s beloved classic Hope for the Flowers became far more than a children’s book. It became a quiet revolution — a story that has moved millions of readers across generations to question the relentless climb toward “more” and to choose a different way of living. This profile is a beautiful testament to the enduring power of one woman’s vision and the seeds of peace she has planted around the world.
